Well, Marigold, if you knew about the pew, pew, pew, you’d know that his first name was Pepe, and that he was a skunk, and that he speaks French.

C’mon Phoebe! Peter Griffin makes better laser sounds than that.

Yawn. Sorry, but that pales in comparison to the part where they replicate the cover of Captain Blaster Comics #1. You know where he gave a good punch to Rudolph Spitler.

Since Captain Blaster is a “she”, I conclude that she is a parody of the current Marvel comics version of Captain Marvel in the current movie. The previous Marvel comics version of Captain Marvel was a man. So was the Fawcett comics original Captain Marvel (real name Billy Batson) who was taken over by DC comics and used in a comic book called Shazam. Shazam is also the title of a movie featuring the Fawcett/DC version of Captain Marvel.

Pew pew pew? Well, at least the congregation will have somewhere to sit!
