I had a friend who was taking a Shakespeare class in college. He told me his professor was easily in her mid to late 70’s and her mom lived with her. At some point, she brought her mom into class and they looked almost the same age! Suffice to say her mom was well into her 90’s at the time.
Mother’s day is wonderful, but what do you do for your Mom the other 364 days? I would give anything for Mom to still be here. I pray heaven is everything you thought it would be.
My mother died from cancer on May the Fourth. Her funeral was last Thursday. This is the first Mother’s Day without my mother. The family came together at the Homestead and we had a nice little sandwich party in her honour.
