I have never listened to a blog but remember him from Air America on Sirius back in the ’00’s. He was really quite interesting, funny and down to earth. May be forced to find his blog.
You want interesting comedians? Check out the work of the late George Carlin. He can talk for 1 1/2 hours without taking a break and it all connects and makes sense. Bill Cosby was good…30 years ago. Most “comedians” or “comediennes” these days cannot talk for 30 seconds without 1) trashing women, 2) talking about sex, or 3) cursing. Those are the reasons the late Red Skelton retired. Eddie Murray and Andrew Dice Clay were the worst.
That’s “Redd Foxx.” Double X-rated. From Wikipedia: John Elroy Sanford (December 9, 1922 – October 11, 1991), better known by his stage name Redd Foxx, was an American stand-up comedian and actor. Foxx gained notoriety with his raunchy nightclub acts during the 1950s and 1960s. Known as the “King of the Party Records”, he performed on more than 50 records in his lifetime. He also starred in TV shows Sanford and Son, The Redd Foxx Show and The Royal Family. His film projects included All the Fine Young Cannibals (1960), Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970), Norman… Is That You? (1976) and Harlem Nights (1989).In 2004 Foxx ranked 24th in Comedy Central Presents: 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time. Foxx not only influenced many comedians, but was often portrayed in popular culture as well, mainly as a result of his famous catchphrases, body language and facial expressions exhibited on Sanford and Son. During the show’s five-year run, Foxx won a Golden Globe Award and received an additional three nominations, along with three Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
Marc Maron’s WTF podcast has been running since 2009, I have listened to many of over 1000 episodes while on the treadmill; he does not tell jokes, he interviews comedians and others in show business and is quite good at it. It is, of course, uncensored, so listener beware…

This being a Canadian comic strip, is he a real person? I’m not into comedians myself.

Marc Maron is an American comedian. I’d never heard of him, either, but apparently he is quite popular.
