Unused boards can lead to birdhouses, too…

Always enjoy Red and Rover. I noticed on today’s strip (June 20, 2019) that Red is not wearing any safety glasses while hammering nails. This is an opportunity to create consciousness about eye safety. We don’t want our cartoon friend to risk having a preventable eye injury.

I thought Rover would be “sawing logs” – he is very good at that!

Sophie, my Virginia Black and Tan Foxhound, reduces a 6" pine 2×4 to splinters in about an hour. Never has needed her teeth vet cleaned, and her breath is as nice as my dentist’s.

Boards are often treated with various poisons. Give him a limb, instead.

OMG NNOOOOOOOOOO! How many dogs have I seen on the x-ray table with their insides coming apart because they did something just like this? Sorry to mess with a lovely ’toon, but this is SO DANGEROUS!!!!
