I just work out with weights every other day at home. I have belonged to a fitness center where I had a trainer for the full time once a week and did 2 days at home, but learned enough to do it on my own. Once I got into heavy enough weights, I just add reps when it starts to get too easy. I also eat more than the recommended fruits and veg, plenty of lean meat and almost no white flour or sweeteners (at 73 keep my BMI just about perfect).

I believe your both ripped off. And further more being ripped off by not constantly using the facility they gain you loose.

Just take it easy the first time you visit the gym, or your “lifetime” membership might only last one day!
