A very real question which we may soon be contemplating is whether some brave volunteer will be sent on what is known to be a suicide mission as the first person to land on Mars without possibility of returning. The solace is that you get to be portrayed in the movie by Matt Damon.

If one is the only person in the world to see it and then be dragged under, who would know?

There is a whole category of religionists who put their lives at low value compared with putting a hurt on “bad people”.

I’d only do it if I were both interested (not much) and had a a diagnosis (that I believed) of death within a short time anyway. Maybe.

If I’m going to die for experiencing something, I’d want it to be a lot prettier than some monster…
