Sam, you must not give away Mortimer’s true identity!

All that would prove is that Mortimer was down at the river bank, nothing else.

I’m assuming whoever was driving the car died?

I know Sam is Clarence’s brother but what does he do?

Joe might have a heart attack if he finds out the truth about his dog.

If Farley can rescue a kid from drowning, so can Mortimer. Just don’t die afterwards, ok, Morty!

At least someone will finally give Mortimer credit for being a super dog.

Joe is forgetting that Mortimer traveled twenty blocks from Ray’s house to find his way back to the home/family he wanted. And I recall Marcy noticing that someone Mortimer had growled at during one of their first walks was arrested moments later. And, of course, there was the time someone tried to break into the house when the kids were home. Only Mortimer sensed the danger and sent the intruder packing.

Maybe it’s finally time for Mortimer to get the hero status he truly deserves.

Who’s this “Sam” guy?

There are rescue dogs, then there are ‘rescue’ dogs.

I like seeing Sam a little more often in the strip!
