I would have said the U.S. Congress, U.K. Parliament, the European Union. the Canadian Parliament, and so on. They all have so-called “intelligent people” pompously telling everyone that they know what the common people want better then what the common people know what they want. They think that they are better and know more than all us little peons who elected them in the first place.
