When I was in high school (in Brooklyn, NY which is not noted for its high snake population), I hear of Evangelical Churches down south where handling snakes was part of the religion. I found it difficult to believe. Now that I am down here, I believe it.
A friend of mine said that he planned to open a pet shop that specialized in snakes and other reptiles. He planned to call it “In Cold Blood.” He was the owner of a boa constrictor.
