Actually, there are several species of squirrels that live in the tropics where there are countless seeds for them to subsist on. Plenty of “nut” sources are available too, including cashews, peanuts, and sunflowers. Plus, the mulberry family (jackfruit, durian, breadfruit, soursop, etc.) provides a buffet of large, thin-skinned seeds that would make other squirrels highly envious. All that pedantry aside, the art is still hilarious, and it’s nice that the artist provides two samples of what fresh coconuts look like outside of the supermarket. It is merely the caption that could use some fact-friendly editing, such as “When non-native squirrels vacation in the tropics.”
