Any long-term dog owner with a cargo area (or even just a back seat) would have a cargo mat or even just an old blanket (those moving blankets are CHEAP nowadays) to allow your four-pawed friend to ride without destroying your car interior… are these unavailable in the UK? ;-)

Your dog should always come first and the car later, after all, you can always wash the car when you get home. Your dog is your best friend.
