Typical grocery tomato.Pretty to look at but tastes like cardboard with no aroma. Can’t wait until time to pick from the vine on a hot afternoon. Ah, the aroma, the juicy-ness, the taste.

Ranch grown tomatoes are typically picked green the treated with a gas that forces them to ripe just before packing. If picked ripe the fruit would be subject to bruising.
