I have a remote control that allows me to program my favorite channels and then ski between said channels. Too bad it doesn’t work, since I can not find any good channels to mark.
I hear a Bruce Springsteen song in there somewhere.
Read a quote somewhere: don’t roll your eyes and sigh, as you help me learn how to use my computer or TV remote. I’m the one who patiently saw you thru learning to feed yourself, tie your shoes, zip or button your coat, ride a bike, roller skate, swim…
It’s a boomer thing. I came in handy the other day when a teen showed up with his classic 1968 Chevy Camaro. In the parking lot it suddenly would not start. His dad still years younger than me could not fix it. Enter the Boomer 1952. In less than five minutes I determined the cause was closed points and off timing. Dad was sent to the parts house returning with a tune up kit and a timing light. In about 20 minutes his child’s Camaro roared to life. I might not be able to program my 4k TV but I can tune a old car.xD

I know how to work the menu, record shows and play those shows
I know the remote can do more than that, but as long as I don’t need those functions I don’t care

Glad to say I don’t need a kid around to show me how do those things, I can screw things up on my own.

Ignoring the remote issue, I find it more funny that the TV screen has been well marked upon! Good one Greg!
