Just realized Loud House did almost the same thing, Ditch the dance to play video games. I suppose the point is to have fun. Maybe schools should invent new social gathering activities? Ones kids actually know how to do and actually enjoy?
Fortunately they’re still a bit young for any really nasty rumors to be spread about what they were up to away from the dance…I think? I don’t know what kids say these days.
