There was a book by a couple of science fiction writers, titled “Inferno” about an atheist who dies and goes to hell, the nine circle model described by Dante Alighieri. He meets a guide who offers a chance at redemption, and witnesses the various ways the tortures have changed to reflect the values of the modern world. And a recurring theme is that he’s disgusted by the injustice of infinite punishment for finite sin. But by the end, he realizes that everyone there is actually free to exit to purgatory whenever they want. All they have to do is admit to themselves that they deserved to be sent to hell.
Since the subject of getting into heaven has been presented here: Unfortunately, nobody is good enough to qualify for heaven. Fortunately, God provided a way through faith in Jesus Christ. If you disagree, don’t be nasty about it, just share whatever hope you have.

Hell. Because eternal torment is an appropriate punishment for a finite crime.

Purgatory is like having after-school detention in the lunchroom.

An eternity of experiencing only joy and nothing else would become a kind of hell rather quickly.

Poor Millie, she is WAY too contemplative to be so young. She will have plenty of time to commiserate those things when she is grown.

For Atheists there is no Heaven and no Hell.
