I don’t usually post serious comments but I live in the Midwest where it has turned unseasonably warm and the forecast is for more warm weather to come. Last night, out walking my dog past a bog, I heard the sound of Spring: Frogs peeping/chirping!
Yes, and there is even a species named for this sound that it makes – the Spring Peeper. When they call, there’s usually hundreds of them calling at the same time. It’s quite a magical sound.
