As for most primitives, Rick, “hunting” is a subjective term. “Foraging” might be more appropriate. Turning over rocks for grubs and digging in termite mounds for larva might hit the proverbial nail.

    Bon apetite!

Shoot. After last week skipped through three weeks of the plot, I was hoping this week would skip to the end and we could move on to a new adventure.

Will Tarzan kill another antelope for just the two of them? Apparently there are never any smaller edible creatures around when he gets hungry. Or, maybe he donates the extra to a food bank for the locals.

Okay, all you brats out there, did you get today’s subtle message? This kid is like Goofus in Highlights magazine.

Two weeks ago the vine broke and they apparently landed across the gorge. Last week they were still in thee desert. Figured they just had to find a way back across. Now they have traveled into the desert? How far out of the way are they going?

Shouldn’t they be headed back to mom and pop?

Tarzan must be tempted to let the kid have a drink…or maybe that people from Barsoom would come to Earth and kidnap the little devil.

    Huge mistake, Ape Man!

Shoulda let the kid slake his thirst and then croak! That would have solved all our problems. But, no, you had to play Protector of Brats again!

I’m glad they are reprinting the Gil Kane strips. Gil Kane was one of the great artists in the comic field and his Tarzan strips are brilliant. He also did a great job on the Star Hawks strips too. Those you can get in muliple volume set in hardback. They published them one strips per page.
