Some of these idiots panicking about the toilet paper just need to do the math on how long a roll usually lasts… of course everyone is different, but…some folks have enough to last until 2025.
I saw a couple hoaders at Costco pushing four carts of TP, sanitizer, wipes, bleach, etc. Judging by their decrepitude, I suspect their heirs will be really clean, onto the third generation.
it was reported a janitor at a florida marriot was arrested over the weekend when at the end of his shift has was seen pushing a bin towards his car. inside were 65 rolls of toilet paper he’d stolen from the hotel.
A shelf cost of about $70, he was arrested for stealing from a public accommodation, a felony in florida
There was an article in Sunday’s Times of Trenton [NJ] concerning a reporter who’s husband found a portable bidet in Bed, Bath, and Beyond on the seasonal discount table, bought it, brought it home and installed it. Apparently one needs little to no toilet paper once one learns how to properly use the bidet.
I didn’t stock up on toilet paper when I went to Canada less than a month ago, when shortages in Seattle had already started. But I did get lucky and find a health food store that sold the rougher TP that I like. I was on foot and only bought two rolls. Surely the panic buying won’t last more than a week or two. (Stop calling my Shirley.) Those two rolls have held up. Last week I finally saw toilet paper on the shelf: Angel Soft, a brand that is too smooth. I bought it anyway. Beggars can’t be choosers. Finally yesterday they have the rougher organic brand on sale, so I bought that even though I hadn’t had to use the Angel Soft yet. I don’t want to be a hoarder, so I left the unopened Angel Soft in my apartment’s laundry room for anyone to take.

Stupid pandemic is ruining everything. The governor is even making it mandatory for us to stay inside or else we will get reprimanded.
