I don’t think the measles shot existed in 1957. It won’t be invented until 1963. There was an experimental mumps vaccine being tested in 1948, but it didn’t work very well, and it wouldn’t be until 1967 when a really effective mumps vaccine would be developed and made commercially available.

Got 10 steroid trigger shots across my neck and shoulders this morning, I felt like a pincushion!
