Weird perhaps, but historic. Something people will long remember. Just as wars always accelerate advancemen in many fields, so will the coronavirus-19. It already is pushing advancement in medicine that would have taken years.
No schoolkids nor exercising office workers going past my window! Most of the vehicles on the street are USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Most of the others are ambulances and emergency vehicles; my street is an approach road for the local hospital.
What we have is each other. We have phones, the internet, and texting available. Reach out to family and friends. If you feel isolated, you are. Don’t let this happen!
If you are a people person, this is really hard. I’m not a people person and don’t mind being cooped up at home, especially since we are having lousy weather. I do miss being with family and hugging my loved ones, though.
You all (Amanda too) are singing my song. I had to go our yesterday to pickup a prescription for the person I care-give for. It was never a big deal before, but now it’s like a death sentence in the waiting (in my head). I also had to pick up some groceries for us both. By the time I got home I was a nervous wreck. I’m very much a people person and miss the close contact, what little I had of it. This to shall pass I know, but hopefully sooner than later.
As an introvert, I’m ecstatic – other than the whole, ya know, possibly-getting-sick-and-dying thing… What’s really something is how little my life has changed. I’ve said for years I’ll do more as soon as I catch up on books/letters/emails/decluttering so aside of vacations and a bit of part-time work I just never seem to leave the house normally! Not that I’m ever normal….

Good luck to us all.

Re: Putting the clothes in the dryer…
Neither before nor after. You can do it during one of the Showcase Showdowns.

You need to go into an empty room and just scream for a while. It will get rid of the tension.
