Pets and others are never really gone as long as you remember them.

They bring back memories and a tear in the eye.

The mention of the Rainbow Bridge makes this special. I like the idea that our companions are waiting to join us in Heaven. If the fuzzies aren’t allowed to go with us, the Universe is a cold place, indeed.

I’ll look forward to seeing my Rottie buddy Titan and my ferret buddies Al and Peggy again.

Ever notice how pet hair works into your clothes, but never works its way out?

Some say the hair of the dog is a type of cure.

Too close to home. Our two are 15 and 17, both are deaf, one is blind, and both practice incontinence, generally on the carpet. BUT both love cuddles and head rubs and have good appetites so, hopefully, we can go on for some time yet.

One? You must have one heck of a fine cleaning service.

A stray hair from an old friend can reduce me to tears. The only solution I’ve found is to make sure that they’re covered up with dog hairs from current friends.

All of my dogs have been special and unique onto themselves. Carmy, my dog now is a fanatic for returning tossed tennis balls. I love that my memories of Sir Winston, Kaya, Cleo and Penny are not compared to Carmy

“A dog hair”? Isn’t that like “a mouse”? Nobody has “a mouse”, you either have mice or you don’t have mice.

As they aged I’d hold conversations with the furballs telling them all about doggy heaven and kitty heaven and how wonderful it would be. They’d get annoyed and squirm away, but it sure helped me.
