It’s dreadful because it’s atrocious.

Hmmm… I’m going to make a guess that she just looked up “Dreadful” and it had nothing else listed. That would be dreadful. Or alarming. Or shocking. Or appalling. Or….

Seems to be at a loss for words.

Appalling, horrendous, terrible, ghastly …

Heavy.

I think the plot SUCKED. Poor character development. Poor descriptions of the characters. As a matter of fact, NO main characters. No major conflict, nothing was resolved. A book so bad, “ even a caveman would hate it”.

Or terrible, frightful, horrible, awful, grim, alarming…

I wanted to write to the publisher to complain about the quality of their thesaurus, but I couldn’t find the words.
