A neighbor taught his dog to crap on a square shovel. I felt sorry for the dog. That’s so unnatural and forced. Defecation for a dog is part relief and part territorial. There are a few other instinctive behaviors that are dog imperatives. Training and obedience yes. Yet, at some level, dogs gotta be a dogs. Picking up poop is just a duty (dooty?) of the owner.
