I feel your pain, Gaylord. My horse had a small pasture with little to graze on, so my sister and I would use a long rope on her so she could graze the lawn. I’d sit in a lawn chair and read while I watched her. She did not like me looking at books when I could be looking at her so she’d pull the book out of my hand, shake it, and drop it. I learned quickly not to read library books outside. Horse teeth prints are hard to explain.

She’s certainly passive in her old age.
