cats don’t exert themselves over too much. Food however in Garfields case calls for top speed.

I have a 16-pound cat who can instantly appear from the opposite end of the house at the mere “pop” of a tuna can being opened.

@William Pursell, I read in a comic a while a go (it was a really old comic) that Garfield turned off the light switch and was in his bed before the light went off, so Garfield is faster than light.

Any ac tivity in the kitchen means chow time for my cat & any time I sit in my recliner it means nap time in my lap!!!!

Garfield doesn’t use a litter box, he uses Ms. Feeny’s lawn. Hence all the damage, and calls to Jon.

Maybe Jon can trick Garfield into exercising with food.
