Well you got your wish. Ches really is a little snark isn’t he. Aided and abetted by the other snark. Considering Jack has been in “jail” (the pound) a couple times, I’m not surprised!
I saw my Doctor yesterday. I am at the stage in life where I am being scolded for losing 20 pounds since mid-January. He thinks I should weigh more at my age! Since I have lost a75 pounds in the last 12 years and kept them off, this is not the advice I was expecting to hear. But it does explain my BP fluctuations. Oh, well, 11 more pounds to go to reach my target.
I’m guessing Oliver is in the walls, a very cat thing to do, although dangerous. My neighbor’s orange tabby got locked up somewhere for a week. He had just recovered from that experience before disappearing for two days. He’s back again and gradually regaining weight. He has unlimited mooching privileges on my cats’ food. He’s looking better after four days but, clearly, he has used up two of his lives.
Brad and one of his co-workers found a kitten at the school yesterday. They brought her here so Peggy could borrow a carrier. The kitten is gorgeous. (I’m going to beg bbear to post a pic). She’s healthy, clean, soft. Her eyes are clear and bright. She’s VERY mellow. Peggy and her husband found a 4 month old black lab puppy while hiking about 4 months ago so Tikki has a new playmate. (Molly) I got a text from Peggy this morning that Tikki is doing great. Her grandson slept with her last night.
Poor unappreciated Annie. I’m slowly recovering from oral surgery yesterday – prescription pain meds do not agree with me and I’m still pretty loopy. I expect to feel normal by tomorrow when we will finally be under 100 for the next several days.
Bucky went to the vet this morning for his annual vaccinations. He was due for them in April. It was pretty easy. When we got there I called and told them we’d arrived, then one of the nurses came and took Bucky in his carrier out of the car and took him in and when he was through she brought him out and put him back in the car. She said he was fine. He can be a bit weird at times, but I think he saw his favorite regular vet.
If these walls could talk, they would tell Chesney to shut up! (Sorry if that sounds mean.) On another note, saw a robin, a dragonfly, and three rabbits while out walking today.

Is this a rerun, or am I having a deju vu moment?

Today is:
National Be Someone Day. I thought all of us already were “someone”. We certainly are not no-ones.
National Junk Food Day. It’s not healthy, but I do like junk food. Maybe a little too much.

At least on Ten Cats, the re-runs are fun the second or more times around.
