Gods I remember doing the for a bit. However once I started art classes and had a drawing set. My pencils were sacred and never never would do that with my drawing pencils.
We used those fat pencils in kindergarten and first grade. The teachers claimed that our little hands didn’t have the coordination for thinner pencils. Also, we had fat crayons, too. That was such hog wash!
