Good idea—it’s never too early for Wallace to learn how to Hotwire a car!

I think observant Moms have headed off mayhem more than we’ll ever know.

Look at that eye contact! She’s looking right at him and it’s just two tiny dots – how is that possible?

The car has a window crank!! (Well, it comes and goes.) How old is this strip anyway?

( Wallace attempts his first hotwire. )

Yeah. I know this play.

Wallace: “There’ll be more chances. Oh, hey, Sasquatch! How ya doin’, big guy?”

Smart move Mom.

I’m so agree.

What could’ve possibly gone wrong?

The trick to riding in the car on a hot summer day was to get the windows rolled down and balance yourself on your bluejean protected backside so no skin touched the hot interior for a few minutes till things cooled down a bit. You had to pay attention to what Mom was doing so you did not tip into the seat.

Preventative maintenance.

What harm could possibly come from a short joy ride?

I found it very distracting that the window crank appeared and disappeared. With it right next to the keys, I tried to figure out what that blinking thing was.

Good call, Mom, good call.

But now Wallace can not listen to the radio while waiting.. one of the pleasures of my youth, but then my parents trusted me.

I’m sure she was watching his line of sight long enough to know before walking away.

What happened with the Animal Control truck and the driver when he returned?

Mom knows best…
