The first time I was old enough to vote I was so proud of myself now being a real grownup. I got into the voting booth and knew who I wanted for president, but then realized with horror that I had not a clue about any other office.
I remember the old style “flip the tab down over your candidates name”, and when you wanted to leave the booth you had to pull the lever which would open the curtain and cast your ballot. Haven’t noticed much improvement for the in person voting, but I have appreciated my absentee ballot, up until this year. Here in Volusia Co alone there were 1500 ballots that were postmarked in time but failed to deliver and be counted. That’s never happened before.

I voted for Anderson (even helped distribute pamphlets). He was by—far, the best choice.
