I’m pretty sure you correct in that assumption ,Fed. But it is an awful lot of fun to play in the leaves that way. You and the boys are s.art to make yourselves scarce while Mr. Dear rakes those back up.

I know it kind of messes up your hard raking work, but so what? Doggies playing in leaf piles are adorable! You should have pulled out your phone and recorded it for Youtube!

Should have bagged them right away if they did not want the dogs playing in them. Just like leaving sausages on the table for poor Fred to find.

We leave the fallen leaves alone and let nature take its course.

Legend has it that if you rake the leaves into the street, the Leaf Fairy drives by and picks them up.

Conan loved to “help” Papa rake the leaves too. He would dive into the pile with one of his favorite toys, then thrash and wiggle with delight. As you can see from today’s avatar, he was very thorough.

You know what, Mr. Dear? Those leaves will still be on the ground at the end of the season. Let the puppies play.
