Nancy: That's the second spanking I've had today.
Aunt Fritzi: Well---You were naughty.
Nancy: And you spanked me yesterday, too.
Sluggo: What are you doing, Nancy? ?
Nancy: I want to see how much I cry each week.
I remember a Little Lulu cartoon where she had a rubber stamp reading “I GOT A SPANKING” which she used in her daily journal. Nowadays, a parent who even raises a voice to a kid can end up in jail on a charge of “abuse”.
I wish Aunt Fritzi could travel to the “Luann” strip and spank the sh!t out of that brat Shannon.
I have always maintained that children, like fine wine, should be kept in a cool, dark place until sufficiently mature. Of course if my parents had believed that I’d still be in that cool, dark place and I’m seventy-seven.
