I used to leave dollars in all my pants, with any change I had. My kids loved doing my laundry, because they got to keep the money. So wash, dry and folded pants were $1 a piece; cheaper than the local laundry. I insisted if they were going to do the laundry, they had ot do it right, otherwise they were not allowed to. It was a way to subsidize their allowances without putting pressure on them.

The worst is when you accidentally leave money in your pocket and someone else does the laundry and keeps it!
