She told the class where to research and how (and how not) to submit it, but what was the question?

Cynthia will ace that challenge in 5 minutes, with plenty of time to back channel the solution to Katy!

She just changed the test from whatever subject she’s teaching to a test on technology shortcuts.

Ah yes, the “Jim Kirk/Kobayashi Maru” Rule.

When I was in grad school, the assignment for one required class was to write an original legal research paper using the citation style accepted in legal circles. But what made this expectation especially egregious was that this was NOT law school, and most of us were first-year students who’d never even read a legal review article, much less written one.

Without hesitation, I can say the class was the most outrageously ludicrous one in my educational career, and I came away with no respect whatsoever for the instructor, and almost lost what little I had in the school for concocting such an absurd curricular requirement. Some years later, I heard the research paper was dropped from the course.

How can kids at home hand in their work ON Paper in 30 minutes? Unless they scan it and send it via email, that part makes no sense.
