like I said, then why watch The Return of the Jedi in the first place? (He kind of killed his own wife pregnant with twins and he amputated his son’s hand in the fight. He also killed sand people who killed his mother who he couldn’t save from death.)
Could it possibly be that the Rebel Alliance wouldn’t be after him if he wasn’t doing all that? So it’s really the Rebel Alliance’s fault, i.e., blame the victim?
Not knowing which movie they were watching yesterday (one could have argued that Anakin turning to the dark side was his death). Today, it is clear: Episode 6.
Feeling sorry for Darth Vader’s death here is kind of like feeling sorry for Trump. (Sorry about that) (On the other hand, not a good comparison; even Vader had some redeeming values)
The often mocked Star Wars prequel films to the original trilogy didn’t quite do justice to Anakin’s decent to the dark side. If you have the time and are into such things, I would advise watching the cartoon series “The Clone Wars”. That is the way the story should have been told and it is very good. Not only that, it ties in, character-wise, with the new hit series “The Mandalorian” quite often.
Well, Baldo, strictly speaking Vader was not responsible in any way for the destruction of Alderaan. That was Tarkin and the Emperor. Vader just stood by and watched. In A New Hope Vader was more or less portrayed as Tarkin’s underling.
If you look back at first prequel why did the Jedi go against separatist, why did they fight to keep them from choosing their own path? Jedi are not the innocents they proclaim. So Estella’s emotion on Darth Vaders death could be understandable as she doesn’t see things just “from a certain point of view”
Vader’s life story is pretty heartrending. This video imagines how Freddie Mercury, if he had lived to the 1999-2005 time frame, would have told Anakin’s story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpvlTVgeivU

So, do you stay with someone whose values you find repugnant, or do you decide that integrity is more important than taking the risk of being alone?

If the Rebels are the bad guys then Darth Vader’s death is sad.

In the end, he turned from the dark side. Does anyone think Trump ever will?

Some girls just can’t help falling for the Bad Boys.
So, what does that say about Baldo that she enjoys hanging with HIM?

Reminds me of some people who appreciate a certain manga character. “Sure, he’s a genocidal maniac, but awwww he loves his kid!” Tch.
