Do they still make them this way? I remember when I was a kid my dad cussing at it when he couldn’t get it to start and that was more than 50 years ago.

This is why I have an electric mower. You push a button and it’s on.

Maybe Brad will manage to pull it off…if he’s unlucky, that is! :D

Brad’s imagination on how long it takes to cut the grass is the same one he uses for how strong he is.

How does she usually start it? I think she needs to do that part for him, and add insult to injury.

Harsh, Diane. But dopey Brad has earned it….

My last mower was an old-fashioned reel mower. I was living in a small town on the Pacific coast where the salty marine air basically rusted a corner of the deck off from my motorized push mower.

I actually preferred the reel mower because it was much lighter, more mobile, good exercise, needed no gas or oil and only required about 5 extra minutes to mow a 5,000 square-foot lawn.

I’ve got one that starts every time … I push it.
