He traded a cat for a basketball?
And Frank calls it.
Old Smiley is a Hood.
What’s even more interesting is that the Horner rental house wasn’t the first bit of DeGroot property that TJ burned up.
Not to drop any spoilers, but all that stuff that Frank mentioned that TJ did?
That is just for openers. ;-)
So what was the cat’s name? No, don’t tell me, after what you named the dog, I think I don’t want to know.
So that is why Brad wanted to be a fireman.
So, TJ had an er, interesting past. Who’d have thunk it? ;)
Well, Brad DID become a fireman and the dad is allergic to cats so TJ was just looking out for you….
OK! So the coming strips are no longer “unspoiled.”
Ironic that they both wanted to play fireman.
T.J. Is misunderstood. He’s just a creative idea man who talks Brad into doing stupid things.
I wish I could do that. I don’t know what I would do with a dozen basketballs, but they gots to be cheaper than feeding a dozen cats.
C’mon Mrs. DeGroot – TJ becomes a great cook.
We all learn from our early failures.
We are embarking on the origin of TJ story line. Some of Greg’s funniest stuff.
What reform school!? I don’t know, Frank, what prison did YOU escape from!?
I think T.J. started turning a corner later on when he had a heart to heart to Nancy about his family and appreciating the surrogate family the de Groots provided.
