Ham for all but especially for Pucky! You can get anything you want at Georgia’s Rainbow Cafe!

Those are some super-sneaky ninja powers, Man, to move the whole table without the Woman noticing! But then, he is the master of the stealth gift and the lovely surprise (got the matching pajamas and the Goldie Exemption last year, too).

OMC, the Boy’s smile! I’m glad his rainbow is being appreciated. ♥

We have a Rainbow Diner in town. It was the last place I had a meal before lockdown commenced again.

This is so sweet.

Do New England women know how to make soup beans out of that ham bone? And do they know to make salty cornbread instead of sweet cornbread to go with the soup beans?

Elvis is, as usual, doing his duty by moving that slice of ham to where it is supposed to be.

Ah, the look of pride on the Boy’s face! He knows he did a good (intentioned) thing even if it actually turned out to be a wrong thing because is was (accidentally) done in the wrong place. You know, wrong: as in, say, stealing ham from somebody else’s plate instead of waiting to be given it as all good boys (and girl) will!

So the need to be good has passed, eh, Elvis?

But where are my beloved Robber Mice? Did Santa leave them nice gifts as well? I am worried about my girls not having a Merry Christmas.

Ham is divinity! And the rainbow gives the purrfect backdrop to the warm Christmas dinner. I love the way Lupin is happily nestled around the Man’s neck and shoulder. He looks absolutely contented. :)

Today is: D-5

Boxing Day: On this day, cats explore all the boxes left from the previous day. As you know, these are never empty—they are full of adventure! (Makes as much sense as any other explanation I’ve read or heard. Perhaps Robin can explain it better, if he’s recovered from his doom of yesterday.)

National Candy Cane Day: Otherwise known as Sticky Children Day. There have been many theories as to when and how and why these things were invented. I think it’s obvious they were invented so one could hang them on the rim of a mug of hot chocolate. This way they don’t fall in and become a mass of sugary goo at the bottom of the mug.

National Thank You Note Day: Texting does not count. An actual phone call (Yes, that’s what the !%$#&*!@! thing is for!) is even better, probably cheaper, and they actually get to hear the dulcet tones of your voice, and you get to hear theirs.

National No Whiner’s Day: This is a day for basking in the glow from the holiday, and keeping the spirit of giving and gratitude alive as long as possible.

This is a very joyful end to the rainbow saga. I’m in tears. And Georgia’s man is the best!

I keep hoping that The Man and The Woman buy the Pink House. It just seems so right for them.

In a bizarre coincidence while reading this comic, I saw my croissant slowly moving backwards off my desk and grabbed it just in time to stop my cat Hattie from stealing it. This has never happened before and I know where she got the idea!!! J’accuse, Georgia!

I went to the store and picked up a couple things today. As I was waiting in line, I noticed a toy piggy with wings in the discount bin. It was so cute (and on sale too) that I couldn’t resist. It only cost $5.

Ooh, a rainbow diner. Count me in!

I’ve been trying to focus on completing over 60 custom necklace orders prior to closing my Etsy shop for good (long story — it’ll be a great relief), but I have been following this story every day and it’s beautiful.
