So, this medical dog (M.D.) is a pointer, and surgeries are done by retrievers!

He’s a German short haired pointer….always retrieves the results

I just read a good book (Molly by Colin Butcher) about a scent detection dog that finds missing cats. She was trained by the same people who train medical scent detection dogs. It’s amazing what they can do.
