    and that you wished you had known it would have been worth some money, so that you could have sold it for $150 instead of someone else getting that $150

    Or an antiques dealer offers you, the $150, you jump on it. Then visiting a friend you spot the item on their shelf, under a spot light. The friend sees you looking at it, and brags how they “stole” the item for a mere $1,000 from the dumb antiques dealer.

    Or, occasionally, you can grab it up at a yard sale for a nickel instead of $5 because they don’t know the value of what they are selling and just want to get rid of the “junk”. :o)

    I used to give tours on a double decker bus in New York City. One of tours was in Brooklyn we went on Atlantic Ave. There are a lot of antique shops located there. I told what I call a New York Joke. Want to drive an antique dealer crazy? Ask the dealer, What’s New?
