Hi, Cappers. I’m aware I’m not first this time but it doesn’t matter.
This is a random video of me asking my Google Assistant any question that popped into my head.
https://flic.kr/p/2kydedY
I’d like to make it perfectly clear that I don’t wish to offend anybody with the second question I asked. I was only curious to see what G. Assistant said. I actually believe I may have had COVID myself not long ago because I know that having itchy, sore and swollen eyes can also be a symptom. But it could also be linked to anything else so I never got a test to confirm. I got this symptom twice. A few weeks apart.
Might have helped him to dodge a pint or two. Andy is like my late father, neither one could have been a lawyer because they could never pass the bar…(though not sure if lawyers/barristers pass the bar in England)
@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny ,our HERO Mr Andrew Capp thinks he’s as sick as a dog because of drinking a dodgy pint :o) , I can feel for him because I was up must of the night feeling sick and miserable :o{ my avatar looks like my bed would be if I slept alone but facing the other way , how was your day? ours should be very busy and confusing Connie needs o go to the bank and she does not want to leave me home alone , but I’m feeling much better now thank GOD , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
UK beer must be a lot stronger than Canadian beer at 5% abv, cause in my heyday 12 was just the afternoon portion of my hobby. Upwards of 18 to 24 a day was more my style.
“Drink! Drink! Forsaken fools, DRINK! Drink, I say! Drink by the pint, the quart or the gallon!” (Bonus points to any Capper that can say where that was from…………)

You know you had a “few” too many when you can’t dodge those “dodgy” beers when they come your way.

The beer was alright, but it was served in a dirty glass.

You never hear the bullet with your name on it. Right, Andrew?

Once Richard Burton was on Dick Cavett and described his tin miner father as “a twelve pint man.”

Another one of those “Never again” situations.
But when people say that, they always do it again.

@Afficionado
I’m really sorry to hear you were feeling unwell last night, Affie. It really is a horrible feeling.
I would probably recommend orange juice for that. I don’t know why, I just would.
It was rainy and miserable here today. I didn’t do much.
Hope you are still feeling better. Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal.
