    how hard can it be to first operate a computer without a tutorial?

    The first time I started a computer back in 1984, the screen showed, “A:\>”.My first thought was “Now what?” I became very familiar with “Bad command or file name”

    I started out on a Commodore 128 … man I miss Q-Link days! Then… the first PC.

    Let’s just say floppy disks went flying across the room til I figured it all out :)

    I know how Jason feels. I learned working computers intuitively. In fact, the helpful tutorials were often counter-intuitive, at least to me. I wanted a book with an index in case I needed to look anything up.
