I hate to admit it, but I haven’t even thought that far. I’m still working on getting both shots, buying new masks, and avoiding the morons who walk around unmasked while I try to do the essential errands. Casually walking around downtown, buying a cup of coffee and enjoying it on the green (with a breakfast bagel) seems a forever away.
I think we all may be coming to grips with the fact that COVID is never going to fully go away. Now that we have the vaccine it’s a good start. I’m resolved to get my COVID shot every year just like the Flu shot. Whether we’re all still wearing masks and social distancing is another matter entirely. Until we’re told it’s safe to discontinue mask wearing and distancing it will always be there for me anyway.

I used to work for someone who was totally disorganized, just like Cathy. Wasn’t easy cleaning up her messes.

I’m not thinking that far, either. I just am looking forward to Spring, green grass, warmer temps.

Yup—never hurts to dream. However:
I, too wonder just how much we’ll be able to move past COVID. I’m hoping, but given how it seems to keep worsening in a lot of ways …
(Not to be a downer, but facts are facts.)
