The basement is The Black Hole of Calcutta and I don’t dare go there. I think it breeds at night.

But you’ll go back in when you need that one thing that’s always in the bottom box in the back corner.

We have a closet used for storage

I had some things I wanted to put all the way in the back

Getting them there and putting the closet back together again was one of the 2 projects I got done on vacation last week

Thats twice the project work I usually get done on vacation

Too many memories of the ex-husband.

We did a minor cleaning in January after putting up the Xmas decorations and a major one before putting them away. Going forward, it’s better if you clean up a little bit several times after you have a major clean up.

If Cathy has to pay a monthly fee (for the last 10 years) for her storage room 472, then she has way too much stuff….or money to throw away.

I have a storage closet in the basement of my building. That’s where I keep my Xmas stuff and air condtioners. But I also have a bag of size 14/12 clothing I’ve been meaning to try on as well as a painting by Xaiver Cugat that Dad got a long time ago. The family is thinking of having it appraised. When I had my place remodeled, I got rid of a lot of stuff.

Yup—those flashbacks will get ya if you’re not careful.
