Never. There’s always time for naps.

Naps are one of the great joys of retirement.

Not really. They’re as good for one now as they were in early years.

Never too old for naps. Never too hot for coffee. Never too cold for ice cream.

Naps are wasted on the young. I keep telling my 6 YO, the day will come when you look forward to a nap. Now he goes until he is ready to drop, gets daddy and tells me he needs to take a nap. That is code for “daddy, come take a nap with me.” I am happy to oblige.

One does not ask permission to take a nap, they just happen. I have taken at least 10 or so short naps just reading the comics this morning.

I have no trouble falling asleep. Two, three times a day. At my desk, lying down …

Until its time for The Big Sleep. Bogey & Bacall have gone on ahead.

I was good at naps as a kid, and since retiring have become even better at them.

As it turns out, no. It’s never too late to take a nap!
