Please tell me what to think. Please tell me what to hear. Please tell me what to read. Did I say the right thing? Do I believe what you want?
I certainly want to do what my leaders want me to do. I have no right to do my own thinking. They know so much more than me. More than those college educated elites.
But, I’m sure there’s good people on both sides of the equation. /s.
It was true back in 2014, and it’s even MORE TRUE today… although NOW to a large number of people, “God” is a Fat Orange LOSER who says that 74,216,154 is MORE then 81,263,924.
Both quotes are misleading. I don’t know how it reads in the King James (i.e., Christian) translation, but the Kings quote does not reference Pi or what it represents. As for the Ezra quote, the total is correct but that doesn’t mean it’s a total of the previous verses which can easily be read as EXAMPLES of a much larger list. Biblical scholars (of which I am not one) suggest that the numbers are to read as symbolic rather than actual, so that “40 days and 40 nights” or “40 years of wandering” simply means “many.”
Go to Exodus 21 for god’s instructions on how to treat your slaves (Spoiler alert. You don’t have to treat them well). And how children who disrespect their parents should be put to death. And all sorts of other cool stuff.
You dare expose me to math? Even fake bible math used for humour? You will pay the ultimate price. As soon as I can calculate what that is. Alright, where’s my grid paper?
Haha, yes. And it says bats are birds (they’re not) and it says rabbits chew cud like cows (they don’t). And, we’re supposed to kill people who do what almost everyone is doing today, including children who mouth off at adults. It’s just what they used to think way back when. Seeing all the inhumane and wrong garbage in that book makes me think no one is really reading it… except soon-to-be atheists. Go ahead, really read it.
Doesn’t matter what you choose to believe, life on Earth works off of physics, and math describes that physics. If you are so sure that God exists and created everything, why would you have any problem believing God created physics and math?

I guess in Solomon’s reign all the wheels in Israel were in the shape of hexagons (i.e.: six sided.) Must have made for bumpy rides.

Actually the value of π as 3 IS accurate, it’s just not very precise!

GOD just mutters to Himself, “I gave them brains. Really nice, big ones! But do they use them?”
