Seems he’s gotten a little too close to his subject…

Sort of like those old-west historians who wear handle-bar mustaches and plaid shirts all the time.

Where I live, there are people who live the part, down to the side arms.

Most of them get to close to their subjects. That’s the reason they understand them so well.

Got a good chuckle, know these people Mr JVA? I wonder if the person I am thinking of would “get” the irony of this cartoon,,,,well, I shall see! IF he has not barracded himself in!

Allen is not the sort of guy you say “boo” to.

    Hi all…

We’re talking about another great poster from Stel tonight…

in the Jan 10th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    It’s on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

    Another classic Hitchdog movie…..

With the amazing Henry Hounda caught up in a web of false accusations…. there’s intrigue, suspicion and doubt.

    A Hitchdog trifecta.

Just look at him…. with his big, innocent eyes…. but a basset is born looking downcast and somewhat sheepish…

    Is he innocent, looking guilty?

Or is he secretly guilty, fooling us all with that imploring gaze?

    His beautiful wife is torn…

    Anyway… the humans tried it….

this guy is really trying to make sad basset eyes…

but it looks silly on a person.

    https://zuts.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/pic-1.jpg

But even people… like Allen, above….. start to look a bit guilty if they’re always overreacting to being observed.

    Are you hiding something, Allen?

Or are you just naturally jumpy?

    Remember, we’re coming over today…

probably at least half a dozen, if not more, of us will be ringing the doorbell.

Arlene is making a coconut cake…. she says it’s your favorite.

So don’t just hide out in your lab!

Nehemiah Purrsoff was pretty good as the catagonist as I recall.

    ᴀɴᴛɪ ᴡʜᴏᴏsʜ ᴅɪsᴄʟᴀɪᴍᴇʀ

You see, @nighthawks, I changed the spelling of Persoff to Purrsoff and antagonist to catagonist because (1) Cleo is a dog, (2) cats and dogs are adversaries, (3) purr is the sound that cats make, and (9) “catagonist” is a play on “cat” and “antagonist”.
