Kneck ?

Seen it 5 or 6 times in the past 30 years.

That sounds labor intensive. I’m not sure they are saving all that much money if any.

We thought Rita was bad enough, but now this clown comes along and outdoes her.

I’m impressed. He’s really worse than Rita!

One of my supervisors had the sense to say, "If you spend all day pinching pennies, you end the day with a pile of pennies. I expect us to have more than pennies. Let the paperclips save themselves, get some work done. "

I remember entering the “paperless society” age – and the company I worked for at the time ended up using twice as much paper as it had before.

Penny wise dollar foolish.

If even Rita thinks it’s a dumb idea…

We used to get ‘worthless’ reports on paper. Almost all of us used the backs for scrap paper. We had a run on rulers, too (easier than scissors). :)

At least he has not asked them to recycle their used toilet paper. Yet.

Well, he seems to be effective. Also Rita is the first one that he call. I like the cup with «world’s best boss»

Kneck? I used to use the word Knee, pronouncing it K-nee when being silly.

Having worked in a corporate environment I don’t understand the anger about government bureaucracy. Pettiness and short sightedness seem universal.

Worked at a government contracting company that insisted upon recycling scrap paper as scratch pads… until management realized that some of that scrap paper had proprietary and confidential information on it…

My boss suggested we use the FAX machine less to save paper. Think about it…

At $50 a pad for labor costs, it’s not really cost effective. Typical know nothing management…..

I give this guy another week before he’s found either in a car trunk or petrified…

I had a manager who insisted that his secretary first screen his email (some people were deleted regardless of the email content) and then print out what was left for him to read. This is the same guy who was hired to reduce cost.

Want to bet that he bought that coffee cup for himself?

We (mostly me) had to cut up scrap paper for notes where I used to work. Only had “real” note pads when we got them as freebies from vendors.

This guy must be ex-military. Sounds just like policing cigarette butts and painting rocks.

Oh my gosh! Our office totally had to do this!
