    There are dogworms and peopleworms and bookworms. But they are in other habitats than dirt.

    Be very concerned if they find hammerhead worms. They are an invasive species that eat the earthworms.

    Strange, but I’ve been tilling our gardens and digging up early potatoes and haven’t seen any. When I went fishing back east we could always find some with a quick dig, not out here.

    Reminds me of my youth. Dad would instruct us to go dig up earthworms, then we’d go fishin’.

    When I was a kid I kept finding rubber fishing lures where a creek ran through a culvert. They looked like space worms.
