I have always thought that intelligent, well informed people think the same as me. Of course this is just my personal opinion which I share with other intelligent, well informed people.
Do not give trolls like Littlejohn the post points he’s whoring. Post your comments separately from his and like most trolls “Poof!” Gone. He’s a hate-filled and spreads disinformation. If you find lies, disinformation, racism, hate speech, etc that people won’t post a verifiable legitimate post for, flag ‘em. Trolls ignore legit sources and just try to shout those sources down. Loud doesn’t make it fact. And they’ll post crap from extremely biased sources claiming that’s the facts – so just do a quick & easy wiki on the site or who owns it – “ABC.com wiki” or “who owns ABC.com?” is just that easy and it gives you the power to see the reality of what a troll claims. That’s why they don’t often post sources.
And be careful of cherry picked facts – it’s easy to change “Jack likes cooking, his wife, and his children” into “Jack likes cooking his wife and children.” Trolls are famous for cherry picking. They also love playing with statistics – “Only 0.05 percent of the population would die” sounds like a handful when you say it like he did. But 0.05% x 330,000,000 is 165,000 people.
Let’s put that into terms people can visualize – while 0.05% means nothing, in January 1980 the Rams and Steelers faced each other in Superbowl XIV at the Rose Bowl. Not quite 104,000 spectators attended. If my math is correct that game (it was highest attendance of any superb owl game) would have been only about 63% of the dead he was talking about as if they were insignificant. He said it was “Not a real plaque”.
A full Rose Bowl stadium full of people wasn’t anywhere significant number to a troll. It wouldn’t have been near the number he still said weren’t the deaths of “a real plaque.” Doesn’t that just sound outrageous and soulless? Well, that’s who trolls are.
Take the wind out of the sails of the trolls, take away their fake internet post points that mean nothing to anyone, and they go away. Don’t post directly to their comments. It is just that simple.
And just posting about avoiding a troll brings out another.
They never deal in specifics. They never use sources. They never have a good thing to say – they only want to monopolize, talk down, & tear down. They usually know nothing so the post gibberish and use limited grammar.
Why, they use synonyms just like grammar used to do.

And what are you going to do with all the Voters who do not agree with you? Lock them up as Enemies of the State?

Sounds like liberals who demand diversity. Except diversity doesn’t include anyone who disagrees with them.

When he was originally introduced in this strip, Sen. Belfry was patterned after Thomas P. “Tip” O’Neill.
Today, he appears to be drawn and written as, um, someone else…
