Clipping my big cat’s claws is a two person job involving lots of short breaks and treats. But at least we can clip them. For two years we had an elderly female cat who’d scream like a banshee. We had to book a vet appointment for her claw clippings and even then it took three vet techs to get the job done.

But leave out the frying part.

So brave Mittens! Good boy gets toenails trimmed! Liver treats after.

He’ll leap right out of that chalupa. That reminds me. I was going to have Covid fixed last month. I couldn’t corral him no matter what I tried. He’s still broken.

I’ve heard of tightly swaddled cats being referred to as “purritos”. I don’t think that would apply to The Mittens in this case. :D
